Did you know? Lublin’s residents saved “The Battle of Grunwald” and “Father Skarga’s Sermon” by Jan Matejko! These two famous paintings were hidden in our city for over four years during World War II.

This installation is not only an opportunity to commemorate this act of heroism, but also to understand the deeper meaning of art and history for our local community. It will undoubtedly encourage visitors to immerse themselves in the history and culture that shaped Lublin and the whole nation.
