Imagine the Khmer “City of Temples,” silent for 150 years as the jungle crept in, its tendrils wrapping around towering stones.
Rediscovered and revered as an active Buddhist sanctuary, it presents a breathtaking spectacle: intricate stone carvings interwoven with the organic forms of towering trees and their powerful roots. In this uneasy harmony between city and jungle, we’re invited to reflect on the shifting boundaries between human ambition and the natural world.
