The project aims to create a schematic diorama of an “ant hill” in Lublin. A cardboard construction, the size of a window frame, will depict ant trails laid out on a map of Lublin. The artwork will be made to resemble a rocky terrarium or a cave interior using sand, dyes, and collected natural materials. Insects stylised as cave paintings will be placed between the trails to represent local fauna essential for local ecosystems. This format, besides offering interesting artistic forms, also serves educational purposes. For instance, it will draw attention to the richness of nature by featuring non-honeybee pollinators. An accompanying legend will explain the significance of the depicted animals. Linking them to the extensive urban network  will emphasise their importance for human society.
