Direction Earth / Space – the opening of European Space Agency and Science Now’s interactive exhibition
See Earth from a satellite’s perspective! Direction Earth/Space is an outdoor exhibition available in seven popular locations in the centre of Lublin, as well as in augmented reality using your smartphones and tablets. Join us for a meeting with Copernicus, the world’s largest Earth observation programme. Did you know that the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic were visible from space? Or that satellite imagery can track modern-day maritime pirates and help rescue people affected by floods or fires? Direction Earth/Space shows how satellite observations are revolutionising various aspects of life. Come and learn about the possibilities that viewing Earth from a cosmic perspective opens up for us! The exhibition is free and does not require prior registration. To access interactive augmented reality content, bring your fully charged smartphone or tablet with internet access (no need to download any applications).
