A guided tour through the exhibiton “Lublin. Memory of the place” focused on Lublin before the war. A place that used to be filled with houses, synagogues, and streets now has a parking lot, new homes, and a busy street. Much of this area is covered with concrete, burying the foundations of Jewish buildings and memories of those who once lived there. Like an Ark of Memory, the Grodzka Gate Centre has become a place where old photos, documents, and testimonies can be preserved for future generations. They’re all on display at the exhibition “Lublin. Memory of the Place”.
