Night at the Archive- archival exhibitions | The State Archive in Lublin
We don’t know how steel was hardened, but we do know how helicopters fly and where bearing balls come from! Join us for a retrospective of preserved footage from factories in Lublin and Kraśnik. This will be a nostalgic journey into the past. You can learn about their work, production, sales, leisure time, and even holidays in Mazury!
In addition to the film screening, we will also have exhibitions on display, including “From the Cultural Archive of Lublin,” which showcases the cultural heritage of Lublin and the Lublin region, including events, institutions, and people: theaters, cinemas, galleries, artists, festivals, and exhibitions.
“Industry and Technology in the Lublin Region” will feature archival materials related to the development of the industrial landscape of the Lublin region from the 19th to the second half of the 20th century.
Lastly, “Donors and Their Gifts” will showcase selected gifts from family archives that have been donated to the stock of the Lublin Archive in recent years.
