What kind of audience does Night of Culture attract? While research has shed some light on them, much still remains unknown. Many questions remain unanswered, such as how similar or different we are from one another, and whether these differences matter.

The Institute of Sociology at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) is currently engaged in the project “Presentation of Science is an Art Form: Promoting Research Findingsat the Night of Culture Festival in Lublin”. This project, which is  funded by the Ministry of Science and Education under the programme “The social responsibility of science – the popularisation of Science and promotion of sports”, is running from 2021 to 2023. The project is carried out in partnership with Workshops of Culture in Lublin, the main organiser of  Night of Culture.
