Bolesław Prus, a renowned Polish writer, spent his childhood in Lublin’s Old Town and attended the Lublin Real School. He was detained at both the Castle and Świętokrzyskie Barracks due to his involvement in the January Uprising and subsequently revisited Lublin numerous times for personal and professional reasons. The exhibition will showcase iconographic materials from the 19th and early 20th centuries that highlight the locations linked to the writer during his stay in Lublin.
