Plants in the city have greater significance than providing shade and a place to rest. Just like us, they are sensitive beings – they respond to light and humidity, seeking out spaces to grow in pavement cracks. Trees communicate and support each other through an underground root system. On Night of Culture we will be able to see how they transmit signals. The installation aims to give voice to urban plant life, providing a space to experience flickering lights and the rustling sounds of trees, and an opportunity to connect with nature.
