Contemporary Art Nouveau-inspired paintings by Oliwia Smoleń.
The paintings come from a private collection and will be shown in Lublin for the first time. They are portraits of women enveloped in Art Nouveau botanical patterns, posed in ways that evoke Baroque symbolism. In the intimate spaces of “Między Słowami” bookshop cafe, we will discover a blend of past ideals with the artist’s unique style of portraying women, and we will also have the opportunity to meet the artist.
