The Night of Culture is an urban festival that lasts for just one night.<\/p>\n

Art brings unknown or forgotten places to life. Gateways become luminous installations, squares and plazas turn into theatrical stages, and the streets of the Old Town can surprise even regular visitors. The doors of galleries, theatres and museums, which stay open until late, are inviting.<\/p>\n

It’s thousands of smiling people strolling through beautiful streets in search of unforgettable experiences. It\u2019s the one magical night of the year when the impossible becomes possible\u2026 The Night of Culture is a celebration of Lublin \u2013 a story about the city created by its inhabitants and friends. This is a gathering of artists, creatives, people from across the cultural scene, and everyone who wants to spend this special evening together.<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/i><\/span>When does the Night of Culture take place?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
The Night of Culture usually takes place on the first weekend of June, between 19.00 and 2.00.<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Where does the Night of Culture take place?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
The Night of Culture is an event that takes place in the Old Town and city centre areas of Lublin. Some events also take place at the venues of the Night of Culture partners, regardless of where they are located.<\/p>\n

The Night of Culture programme will be published on our website closer to the date of the event.<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Where is the information point?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
At the information point, you will find answers to your questions about the Night of Culture, and you will also be able to collect free tickets to the events.<\/p>\n

We will provide the location and opening hours of the information point closer to the date of the event!<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Is the event free to attend?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
All events taking place as part of the Night of Culture are free of charge!<\/p>\n

Some events require a reservation of free tickets.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>How do I book a free ticket?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
To reserve a ticket, go to the page of the selected event in the programme and fill in the registration form there. Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and confirmation is sent by email. The ticket must be collected in person by the date specified in our message. Registration takes place in May, usually 2 weeks before the festival date.<\/p>\n

We only accept reservations for events held in enclosed spaces, for the comfort and safety of all participants. However, if you don’t have a ticket, it’s no big deal! You can see all the other beautiful things that are available to all guests of the Night of Culture without any restrictions.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>How can I get to the Night of Culture?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

The city centre is easily accessible by various means:<\/p>\n

\u2013 By public bus \u2013 use the Jakdojade<\/strong><\/a> app to find the most convenient connection. Tickets can be purchased at kiosks, ticket machines at bus stops, and on most buses. You can also use the mobile app. You can find the ticket price list and other practical information on the Lubika<\/strong><\/a> system website.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2013 By bike or city bike \u2013 Lublin has an extensive network of cycle paths leading to the city centre. You can view a map of cycle paths in Lublin here<\/strong><\/a>. Don’t have a bike with you? No problem \u2013 check where the Lublin city bike<\/strong><\/a> stations are located.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Electric scooter \u2013 there are scooter rental companies operating in the city. The operator is Bolt. You can bring your own scooter onto the festival site, but we do not have a charging area, storage facility or dedicated parking for scooters.<\/p>\n

\u2013 By car \u2013 public and private car parks are available in the city centre and its surrounding areas. In addition, Lublin has a Paid Parking Zone<\/strong><\/a>. You will pay for parking from Monday to Friday between 8.00-18.00. On Friday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, you can park for free. Look for parking meters or install the CityParkApp<\/strong><\/a> to help you pay for parking. However, during the festival, it is difficult to find a free parking space, so we encourage you to use public transport.<\/p>\n

\u2013 By taxi or ride-hailing apps \u2013 Bolt and Uber operate in Lublin, alongside traditional taxi services. You can find selected telephone numbers on the Tourist Inspiration Centre website<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Regardless of the mode of transport you choose, head towards the city centre and the Old Town.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Will night-time transport services run more frequently?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
During the Night of Culture 2026, public night transport was FREE! Between 22.30-2.30, the N1, N2 and N3 lines ran every 30 minutes, and between 2.30-4.30, they ran every 60 minutes.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Where can I park my car?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
Public and private car parks are available in the city centre and its surrounding areas. In addition, Lublin has a Paid Parking Zone<\/strong><\/a>. <\/i><\/i><\/span>What difficulties might drivers encounter?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
Due to the high level of interest in the event, it is very difficult to find a free parking space close to the centre. In addition, during the Night of Culture, some streets are sometimes closed to car traffic \u2013 the Lublin City Hall closes Kr\u00f3lewska Street every weekend during the summer holidays. To make it easier for people to get home after the event, the Lublin Public Transport Authority (ZDiTM) provides more frequent night bus services and free travel on night buses. We encourage all Night of Culture attendees to use public transport and the city bike-sharing system.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Is the Night of Culture the same as the Night of Museums?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
No, the Night of Culture is a separate event held in Lublin on a different date from the Night of Museums, and it focuses on showcasing a wide range of cultural and artistic phenomena. The Night of Museums largely invites people to view works of art inside cultural institutions, while the Night of Culture takes these works out onto the streets and also creates entirely new, premiere multidisciplinary events that resonate with the city and engage passers-by.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Festival etiquette<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
The Night of Culture is all about exploring the city and strolling through the Old Town at your own pace, so make sure you wear comfortable clothes, especially shoes!<\/strong>;) The event has a relaxed, informal vibe, so on this special night, you can enjoy a classical music concert in jeans and a T-shirt.<\/p>\n

It’s a good idea to bring drinks and snacks<\/strong> with you, because after 22:00 wait times for food and drinks at restaurants and caf\u00e9s can be quite long.<\/p>\n

The same rules on drinking alcohol in public places<\/strong> apply during the Night of Culture as on any other day. We therefore encourage you to stop for a glass of wine or a beer at designated venues. Fortunately, in the Old Town and the surrounding area, you’ll find a wide variety of bars, caf\u00e9s, pubs and restaurants.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>How to prepare for the festival and what to keep in mind?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
Remember that the Night of Culture begins in many places at the same time, and there is no official opening ceremony. It’s up to you to decide what your Night of Culture programme will be like.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t, no worries! Every year, we see plenty of spontaneous festival-goers who make decisions as they go and have a great time.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Can I take photos during the Night of Culture and post them on my website, Facebook or Instagram?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
Yes, you can take photos at the vast majority of the Night of Culture events! Remember that you can tag us \u2013 Noc Kultury<\/strong><\/a> on Facebook and @nockultury<\/strong><\/a> on Instagram!<\/p>\n

Exceptions include certain concerts and theatre performances. Information about photography restrictions will be displayed on signs at the event venue and announced by the host from the stage. We will also include this information in the event description on the website.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>I\u2019m attending the festival with a child. What should I know?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
Many Night of Culture events are open to all ages. Check the description of each programme item for information about the recommended age group!<\/p>\n

During the festival, the city streets are quite crowded, and there’s a lot going on. It’s easy to get lost in such conditions. At the information point, you can get a special wristband for the youngest festival-goers. Please write the caregiver\u2019s contact number on the wristband. This will allow you to find your child as quickly as possible if they get lost in a crowd.<\/p>\n

We invite parents with children to take walks together and take family photos!<\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Can I bring my dog to the festival?<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>
We love pets (Matrix the dog is an important member of the Night of Culture team), so we suggest that, for their own good, it’s better to leave them at home for this one night. A festival means tens of thousands of attendees, loud sounds, an exceptional overload of stimuli and often very high temperatures. All of this causes a lot of stress and can frighten even a pet that is used to such situations. We leave our four-legged friends at home.<\/p>\n

Please also remember that pets are not allowed in the mass event area (in 2026, this was the grounds of the Per\u0142a Brewery).\u00a0<\/p>\n
