Mauricio Díaz Álvarez is a distinguished classical guitarist whose interpretive artistry and technique have earned him international acclaim. He was born in Mexico, where
he completed his  musical  education. His repertoire spans both works by old masters and contemporary composers, allowing him to explore the classical guitar’s sound in a versatile manner. He has concertized in many countries, gaining recognition from both audiences and critics.

The artist is renowned for his interpretations of Spanish and Latin American music, evidenced by a rich concert program that includes his original composition, “Homage to Joaquim Malats.” His performances are a blend of passion, precision, and extraordinary musical sensitivity.
