The faces | an installation by Paweł Totoro Adamiec
About
“The Faces” is a striking series of installations crafted entirely from reclaimed materials, depicting vivid, caricatured visages. These forms intentionally emphasize exaggerated features and distorted expressions, serving as a mirror to the human psyche.
The artist, Paweł Totoro Adamiec (from the Institute of Landscape Architecture at KUL), uses these recycled sculptures to prompt a deeper reflection on human nature and the various “social masks” we wear in our daily lives. Set against the historic ruins of Plac Po Farze, these expressive figures challenge the viewer to look beneath the surface of the grotesque.
