Take a journey back in time to where the fonts you know from your computer screen exist as physical, tactile objects. This guided tour explores the historic Popularna Printing House, a pre-war space filled with original equipment from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

You will visit the typesetting room, the bookbindery, and the papermill to see how information was reproduced before the digital age. The tour is complemented by the exhibition “The Power of Free Speech” (Siła Wolnego Słowa), which documents the birth and impact of Lublin’s independent underground publishing movement between 1976 and 1989.
