When Darkness Falls… Nightlife in Interwar Lublin | a walk with Anna Jakimowicz | REGISTRATION
About
Nightlife in 1920s and 30s Lublin was a mosaic of light and shadow. After the theater curtains fell and the cinema screens went dark, the city’s cafés and restaurants pulsed with music and conversation.
Yet, just steps away in the gateways and alleys of the City Center and Old Town, a hidden life unfolded—one full of shadows, secrets, and clandestine deals. This walk invites you to feel these sharp contrasts and rediscover the nocturnal rhythm of the city from 100 years ago.
