Good Night – Evil Might? The Lublin Witch Trials | Author talk | REGISTRATION
About
Step back into 1643 for an intimate literary gathering centered on the trial of Zofia Baranowa. Accused of witchcraft in the heart of Lublin, her vivid—though torture-induced—testimony provides the only known historical description of a local witches’ sabbath.
This session explores the boundary between historical records and dark folklore, shedding light on a forgotten chapter of the city’s judicial past.
