About
The mixed-media and watercolor workshop is designed to introduce participants to a variety of watercolor painting techniques and the ways watercolor interacts with different materials (dry painting, wet painting, wet-on-wet techniques). Participants will explore the effects created by using natural ingredients such as salt, alcohol, and coffee, as well as other artistic materials including charcoal, watercolor pencils, masking fluid, and ink.
The workshop will conclude with each participant creating their own greeting card featuring a chosen theme — flowers, abstract compositions, or architectural details — using the techniques learned during the session.
