Do we actually have a say in how our city looks and functions? This interactive session is an open, informal conversation about the real power citizens hold over their immediate surroundings.

Forget stages, microphones, or the divide between “speakers” and the “audience.” This is a casual circle designed for everyone. We’ll start with a 5-minute intro to the basics of local action—things like grassroots initiatives, public consultations, and neighborhood associations—looking at what actually works versus what just looks good on paper. From there, the floor is open for anyone to share experiences, ask questions, or just listen. The goal isn’t debate or persuasion; it’s a stress-free exchange of perspectives on local life.
