Iphigenia stands on the ruins of a matriarchal civilization, carrying the physical memory of the most horrific crimes of the patriarchy. With an axe held over the defenseless neck of Orestes, she faces a pivotal choice.
Should she strike? Is there any way out of the endless cycle of harm, revenge, and sacrifice? This performance asks what we should do with a world that, for the first time in thousands of years, we finally hold in our own hands.
