This weekend – from June 6 to 7 – Poland’s most magical festival returns: Lublin’s Night of Culture! An unforgettable evening of music, art, and creativity awaits. Before you head out to the Night of Culture, make sure to read our practical guide and get ready for an amazing experience!
When, Where, and How?
Join us on the night of June 6–7, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The night is short, but the program is packed!
Nearly 200 installations, concerts, performances, and artistic events will take place throughout Lublin’s Old Town. Night of Culture also extends to many other locations across the city.

7 Practical tips for the Night of Culture
1. Install our official app!
Search for MK Events in the App Store or Google Play. Once installed, enter the event code: 3865.
You’ll be able to browse the programme easily on your phone, save events to your favourites, and even rate them. We’ll also send reminders about some of the festival’s highlights so you don’t miss them.

Please note: We do not print programmes in order to reduce our environmental impact.
2. Dress comfortably
Night of Culture features countless events throughout the Old Town and surrounding areas, so comfortable shoes are a must.
3. Choose public transport instead of driving
It’s faster and more convenient. Due to the festival’s popularity, driving into central Lublin may make it difficult to find parking.
During the Night of Culture, night-time public transport will be FREE OF CHARGE!
From 10:30 PM to 2:30 AM, routes N1, N2, and N3 will run every 30 minutes. From 2:30 AM to 4:30 AM, they will run every 60 minutes.
4. Leave your pet at home
We love animals, which is why we care about their comfort, well-being, and safety. For this one night, we recommend leaving your pet at home.
Night of Culture attracts tens of thousands of visitors and features intense sounds, lights, and a unique overload of stimuli that can cause significant stress and frighten even pets that are usually comfortable in busy environments.
5. Charge your phone
Make sure your battery is fully charged so you can capture the festival’s extraordinary artistic installations and memorable moments.
6. Alcohol is allowed only in designated areas
Please remember that consuming alcohol in public spaces is prohibited.
If you’d like to take a break and relax, visit the Night of Culture Chill-Out Zone at Perła Brewery, located at Bernardyńska 15.
7. Have fun!
Make the most of it — there’s only one Night of Culture each year. Everything will disappear with the sunrise, just like a beautiful dream!

We have made every effort to ensure that the programme on our website is as clear and accessible as possible. There, you will find a detailed schedule with filters that make it easy to search for events not only by location and time, but also by event type and accessibility level for people with disabilities.

If you like to have everything planned in advance, you may also find useful the Night of Culture Google Map created by Amelia Kwiatkowska. This tool is perfect for navigating the winding streets of the Old Town. It will help you find all festival events and make sure you don’t get lost among the many attractions.
Our programme also allows you to save events to your favourites. Once you have selected the events that interest you most, you can print your personal schedule and bring it with you to Night of Culture.

Night of Culture is a dynamic festival, so please keep in mind that venue changes and even last-minute cancellations may occasionally occur.

Night of Culture Information Point
Additional support will be available from our Night of Culture volunteers. They are easy to spot thanks to their orange T-shirts and ID badges.
If you have any questions or need assistance, visit the Information Point at Łokietka Square (next to City Hall). The Information Point will be open from 12:00 PM until midnight.
A medical assistance point will also operate nearby, located in an ambulance stationed next to the Krakowska Gate.
Collect your free tickets
Ninety-nine percent of the festival programme is open and accessible to everyone. Admission passes are required only for selected small-scale events held in enclosed venues, such as theatre performances and workshops.
The free reservation period has already ended, but now it is time to collect your tickets.
Tickets can be collected at the Night of Culture Information Point at Łokietka Square between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Any tickets not collected by 6:00 PM will be returned to the general pool. Reservations will expire, and the tickets will become available to anyone interested.
Traffic restrictions
As part of the City of Lublin’s summer traffic arrangements, Królewska Street is closed every holiday weekend, and Night of Culture will be no exception.
The street will be closed to traffic on the section between Bajkowskiego Street and Podwale Street. Drivers coming from Bajkowskiego Street will be redirected left onto Lubartowska Street, while access to local properties will be maintained via Wyszyńskiego Street.
In addition, Miedziana Street will be closed to vehicle traffic until midnight.

Night of Culture consists of hundreds of free artistic events scattered across Lublin’s public spaces. Thousands of smiling people are walking through the streets in search of unforgettable experiences. It is the only night of the year when the impossible becomes possible.
The city is packed with concerts, light installations, performances, shows, workshops, and many other events that defy easy definition. Participants can experience a concentrated package of adventures and cultural impressions packed into seven hours. It is entirely up to them whether they’ll spend the night at wild concerts and performances or more intimate literary meetings.
Through installations in public space, the Night of Culture transforms entire streets beyond recognition. It is a time when you can smell gateways, stroke furry walls, or peek through keyholes into fantastical worlds. Before going out, it is essential to fully charge your camera battery.
