100+ Visions. One extraordinary Night | Night of Culture 2026!
As many as 105 cultural proposals have been submitted to Workshops of Culture in Lublin as part of this year’s open call for Noc Kultury (Night of Culture). We are delighted to see such a passionate commitment to co-creating this unique, once-a-year celebration!
The 20th edition of Noc Kultury will take place on the night of June 6–7, under the evocative theme “Dobra Noc” (A Good Night’s Flight). As is our tradition, we invited you to design special, premiere cultural interventions for this extraordinary Lublin festival. We specifically sought projects that engage creatively with the city’s architecture, encourage dialogue and connection, and embrace ecological solutions. Once again, the response has been overwhelming.
A Community of Creators
The 105 submissions include a wonderful mix of perspectives, including many from individuals who made their festival debut just last year. While it is too early to reveal specific details, we can confirm that many of these concepts are truly breathtaking.
We are now entering the exciting phase of reviewing each submission. Some projects will be fine-tuned to fit the urban landscape or integrated with existing curated ideas.
Save the date: The full programme for this year’s festival will be unveiled in April. Please note that these public submissions represent just one part of the festival; a significant portion of the event consists of our own curated events
Empowering the next generation: Event Zone Managers
We are equally thrilled by the continued interest in our Event Zone Manager recruitment. For dozens of participants, this provides a premier opportunity to develop professional skills in planning, coordination, communication, logistics, and partner relations.
Our volunteers consistently highlight the immense satisfaction that comes from actively shaping urban culture and bringing diverse festival events to life. These selected managers will:
Collaborate directly with artists to ensure seamless execution.
Work alongside organizers to review open-call projects.
Oversee the technical and creative realization of their assigned zones.
